In between the billowing NASCAR flags, the Jarrett car and the ForeverLawn car sit in anticipation, waiting to be shown off to the crowd. Jeffrey Earnhardt, Ryan Vargas, and Colby Howard sit at a table, eager to greet guests, sign autographs, and share stories.
An ice cream truck patiently stands to the side, watching the set-up unfold. Boxes and bags of food are unloaded from a truck and stacked neatly behind draped tables. A guitar sits on a stand beside a microphone and speakers, anxious to begin playing.
As the masses walk toward the enormous white tent, the cars stand at attention, the drivers smile, the ice cream truck whirs, the crates and bundles of food are ready, and the guitar begins to harmonize.
The Pre-Race Rally was a celebration for all of the senses: seeing the cars, shaking hands with the drivers, tasting the delicious ice cream, smelling the barbecue, and listening to music.
We had an electric atmosphere with the drivers from the JD Motorsports team. The drivers signed hero cards, shook hands, told stories, played corn hole, took a turn on the putting green, and sampled some great food. The event wouldn’t have been complete without them!
Our partners at ForeverLawn came equipped with their entire crew to help with the event. They brought their robust artificial turf products for the cars to sit on and to use for yard games. Their putting green was a popular spot to stop and compare technique.
We loved seeing our employees wearing the Landon Cassill shirts and enjoying the festivities with their families after work. The Jarrett Difference has always been our people, and we are so thankful to have them on our team!
It was exciting to host some of our local clients and give them tours of our facilities. We value each and every one of them and hope to be able to have more tours in the future.
Everyone was raving about how great the food was from Baja West Coast Kitchen and Old Carolina Barbecue. They always bring their A game to events and we’re so lucky to have them across the street!
The ice cream Miller’s Creamery provided was the perfect sweet relief during the heat. If you’ve never had Miller’s Creamery before, it’s worth the drive to Millersburg, OH!
Mark Leach, a Barberton, OH native, played country songs we all know and love along with his own songs. He gave our event the perfect atmosphere and we appreciate him coming out and playing for us.
“The Pre-Race Rally was an exciting event to build anticipation for the Mid-Ohio race featuring the vibrant red Jarrett car. The evening was full of music, laughter, race cars and flavorful food,” said W. Michael Jarrett, president and CEO of Jarrett. “We are thankful for the amazing response from the surrounding community, clients and Jarrett employees who made the Rally possible. We look forward to the continued success of building the Jarrett brand with our partners ForeverLawn and JD Motorsports!”
