We'd like to introduce you to Tim Chapman, Logistics Coordinator for Jarrett. Read Tim's answers to the questions below to find out more about him!
How long have you been at Jarrett?
I started at Jarrett in April 2018. I have been here for almost 3 years.
What is the best part of working in your department?
For me, the best part of my department has been the hands on experience I have been able to have with my customers. I have developed great relationships with the customers I work with daily and have been able to implement changes that benefit both of us.
Favorite memory at Jarrett so far?
We had a Jarrett vs Jarrett basketball game on about the hottest day of the year. We lost, by a lot, but it was a great bonding experience for my team!
What is your favorite quote?

Which employee perk that Jarrett offers do you enjoy the most? Why?
The wellness program has been great since I started and has encouraged me to stay as active as possible. I think it is more than generous and very motivating.
Who has been a mentor for you here at Jarrett? How have they helped you?
My biggest mentor has been Hannah Butcher. I sat next to her for my first 1.5 years at Jarrett and from day one she was extremely friendly and helpful. As I have advanced at Jarrett she has been a huge resource for any and all questions.
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
“Just a Kid from Wadsworth”
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Hit a baseball better than 3 times out of 10 at a professional level.
How is Jarrett “different”? (Compared to other company cultures you may have experienced)
Many companies will preach employee first mindsets and empowerment but Jarrett truly follows through on that promise. They have always supported me as an employee and have stood behind the decisions I make. The culture company-wide is extremely supportive and welcoming.
How is Jarrett “different”? (Compared to other competitive, similar services)
What we constantly hear from our customers is that the service we provide is far superior to what they receive from similar companies. There seems to be a responsiveness and a friendliness that competitors simply cannot accommodate.
Ask a co-worker: What difference does Tim make at Jarrett?
Tim's customer service and attitude is what makes him stand out. Our customers really love working with him as he always goes above and beyond for them. His attention to detail is what helps keep the team running smooth and our customers very happy.
Name a time you felt valued or appreciated by someone at the company or by a customer.
When meeting one of my customers during a CRM one of the people I work with often introduced herself and as part of her introduction said “My name is – and I love Tim”. This of course was hyperbolic but it felt great to hear how much she appreciated the work I do for them. Overall the CRM experience was a very valuable experience for me in many ways.
