Severe thunderstorms are possible in portions of the central and southern Plains, and there is potential for flooding across Kansas. In the Pacific Northwest and northern California, there is potential for isolated flash flooding from thunderstorms near burn scars and sensitive terrain. Minnesota
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:30 AM CDT this morning.
- Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
- Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Kansas
Flood Warning remains in effect until 5:30 PM CDT this evening.
- Flooding caused by excessive runoff from earlier heavy rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
Nebraska
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9:45 AM CDT this morning.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 8 AM MDT this morning.
- Visibility one quarter to one half mile in dense fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
California
Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10 AM this morning to 9 PM PDT this evening.
- Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. Isolated gusts to 55 mph possible.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
