Scattered damaging winds, isolated severe hail, and a brief tornado or two are possible from the Upper Ohio to Tennessee Valleys during the late afternoon and evening. Across the Southwest, monsoonal moisture will continue to bring heavy rain and a threat for isolated to scattered flash flooding through Saturday. Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 7:45 AM MST this morning.
- Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding..
- Impacts: Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.
Arizona
Flood Warning remains in effect until 9 AM MST this morning.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. The USGS gauge on the Gila River near Dome has risen above Action Stage, with a stage height of 21 feet at 12:30 AM MST.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 AM MST this morning.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-lying crossings.
Pennsylvania
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning.
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility.
New Mexico
Flood Watch remains in effect from noon MDT today through this evening.
