U.S. Weather Update 9.29.25

Summary:
Tropical Storm Imelda has formed near the Bahamas Sunday afternoon, and continues to bring heavy rainfall. The risk of significant wind impacts from Imelda along the Southeast coast are decreasing. Another round of showers and storms with a heavy rain and flash flood threat will continue in the Southwest through Monday morning.


New Mexico

Flood Watch remains in effect until further notice.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-laying and flood-prone locations

 

 

 

Additional Dense Fog Advisories included but are not limited to:  Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.  

Additional Flood Warning included but not limited to: Florida and South Dakota.

Additional Hurricane Humberto and Tropical Storm Imelda are not predicted to make landfall.
