U.S. Weather Update 9.26.25

Summary:
In Arizona and New Mexico, heavy to excessive rainfall from monsoon thunderstorms may bring isolated flash and urban flooding today into Sunday. Tropical wave (AL94) is likely to become a depression by late Friday or over this weekend in the vicinity of the Bahamas. Significant uncertainty remains in the track and intensity, but chances for impacts to the southeast U.S. coast are increasing.


Arizona

Flood Watch remains in effect until further notice.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-laying and flood-prone locations

 

 

 

Additional Dense Fog Advisories include but are not limited to:  Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania
