U.S. Weather Update 9.20.25 (Clone)

Summary:
Unsettled weather is forecast to continue through the first half of the work week from the Southern Plains to the Great Lakes as a frontal system moves through. Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms and flash flooding will be possible each day. Meanwhile, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across the Southwest and California, with isolated flash flooding possible

Impacted Lanes: I-5, I-90, I-40


Arizona   

Flood Advisory remains in effect until further notice.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-laying and flood-prone locations

California 

Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9/23/25 night.

  • Life threatening flash flooding. 

Flood Advisory remains in effect until further notice.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-laying and flood-prone locations

Texas

Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9/23/25 night.

  • Life threatening flash flooding. 

Arkansas 

Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9/23/25 night.

  • Life threatening flash flooding. 

Flood Advisory remains in effect until further notice.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-laying and flood-prone locations
