Increasing tropical moisture from the remnants of Mario will bring showers, thunderstorms, and a flash flooding threat across much of southern California into the Desert Southwest through Friday

- Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
- Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
California
Flood Watch remains in effect until further notice.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-laying and flood-prone locations
South Dakota
Flood Watch remains in effect until further notice.
