U.S. Weather Update 9.11.25

Summary:
A stalled front will continue to bring additional heavy to excessive rainfall across South Florida today into Saturday with localized and urban flooding possible. A corridor of strong to severe thunderstorms with hail and damaging wind gusts is forecast today from eastern Montana into western North Dakota. Impacted Lanes: I-84, I-15, I-90, I-80, I-40, I-70, I-40


North Dakota
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 2:30 PM CDT.

  • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
  • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Florida
Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice.

  • Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
  • Impacts: Flooding of portions of Alligator Road and Holiday Road. .

Idaho
Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening.

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible, especially across the Falls, Cow Valley and Durkee burn scars.
  • Impacts: Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding or debris flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars.. 

North Dakota
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 3 PM CDT this afternoon.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected..
  • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas..

Washington
Flood Warning remains in effect until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

  • Visibility around one quarter mile in dense fog..
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous..
