U.S. Weather Update 8.13.26

An active pattern will continue to bring heavy to excessive rainfall and flash flooding threats to the Midwest and Ohio Valley over the next couple of days. Dangerous heat continues across the central/southern Plains and Southeast U.S. into next week. There is potential for record-tying/breaking temperatures with many areas forecast to see their hottest temperatures so far this year.

 

Tornado Warning included but not limited to: Iowa 

Flood Warning included but not limited to: Indiana, Arizona

Flood Watch included but not limited to: Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Iowa, Nebraska, Idaho, Montana, California, Colorado

Flash Flood Warning including but not limited to: Arizona, Nebraska, Iowa

Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to: Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Ohio, Missouri 

High Wind Warning included but not limited to: Montana
