Severe storms for parts of the northern Plains & upper Midwest tonight & Wednesday- threats include a few tornadoes, damaging winds & excessive rain. Heavy rain may impact portions of the Southeast and Southwest into tonight. A tropical disturbance brings heavy rain to Guam & the Marianas through Friday. Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 6:45 AM MDT.
- 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
- Impacts: Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 8 AM MDT.
- Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
- Impacts: Flash flooding of rivers ,creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Mississippi
Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings
Kansas
Flood Warning remains in effect until Friday evening.
- Minor flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Some low-lying rural county roads begin to flood along with extensive field flooding.
Michigan
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 10:30 AM EDT this morning.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Minnesota
Flood Watch remains in effect through Thursday morning.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
