Heavy thunderstorms may bring areas of excessive rainfall and locally considerable flooding over parts of the Ozarks into the lower-Mississippi River Valley Friday and Saturday. Scattered severe thunderstorms may occur Friday from Montana into the central Plains, with hail and corridors of damaging winds possible. Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until noon today.
- Flash flooding caused by excessive by thunderstorms.
- Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Texas
Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice.
- Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Moderate lowland flooding occurs, with the river reaching well into the flood plain. Secondary roads near the river and low bridges may be flooded.
Oklahoma
Flood Advisory remains in effect until further notice.
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
South Dakota
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM this morning.
- Visibility as low as a quarter mile in dense fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
