U.S. Weather Update 5.6.26

 Severe thunderstorms across Texas to the southern Appalachians pose risks of damaging winds, large hail, a couple of tornadoes, and potential flooding through Wednesday. A late-season snowstorm will continue to produce heavy snow over parts of the central Rockies, possibly resulting in travel disruptions, downed trees, and power outages. 

Colorado

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until Wednesday afternoon. 

  • Heavy snow is expected. Total accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. 

 

Wyoming

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until Wednesday. 

  • Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. 

 

Additional  Wind Advisory included but not limited to:  Washington, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. 

Additional  Winter Storm Warning included but not limited to:   Colorado and Wyoming. 

Additional Flood Warning included but not limited to : Washington, Arkansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Alabama, and Georgia.

Additional Dense Fog included but not limited to : Florida and Georgia.
