U.S. Weather Update 4.21.26

 A Pacific storm system will bring strong winds and low elevation rain to much of the West Coast, and heavy high elevation mountain snow to the Sierra-Nevada through Wednesday. Fire weather concerns will continue into Tuesday across the Mid-South and Southeast as gusty winds and dry conditions persist. 

California

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until Wednesday afternoon. 

  • Total snow accumulations between 12 to 18 inches.

  • Winds gusting as high as 75 mph.    

 

Additional Winter Weather Advisory included but not limited to:  California, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

Additional Wind Advisory included but not limited to: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Florida.

Additional Flood Warning included but not limited to : Washington, Texas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
