U.S. Weather Update 3.4.26

 Numerous showers and thunderstorms, some severe, are expected from the southern Plains to the Ohio Valley. The repeating nature of some showers and thunderstorms may lead to isolated flash flooding across the Ohio Valley. An area of freezing rain, with some snow on the northern edge, will cause hazardous travel conditions over portions of New England. 

 

Utah

Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from late tonight through Friday afternoon.

  • Total snow accumulations between 8 and 14 inches.

Indiana

Flood Watch remains in effect until 10 am this morning. 

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. 

Ohio

Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 pm this afternoon

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. 

West Virginia

Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 pm this afternoon

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. 

South Carolina

Flood Warning remains in effect until Friday morning.

  • Minor flooding of the Ogeechee River. 
 

 

Additional Dense Fog included but not limited to:  North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.  

 Additional High Wind Advisory included but not limited to:  California, Nevada, Idaho, and Arizona.

Additional Winter Weather Watch included but not limited to: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah.
