U.S. Weather Update 3.27.26

Unseasonably warm temperatures continue today through the weekend across the Southwest and southern U.S., with more than 100 record or near record maximum temperatures forecast through the rest of the week and over the weekend. Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will persist across the southern Plains today, moving into the central Plains and Southeast U.S on Saturday.

 

Washington

Flood Warning remains in effect until Saturday afternoon. 

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall and snowmelt continues to be possible. 

 Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until Thursday morning.    

Kentucky

Freeze Warning remains in effect until tonight

Illinois

Freeze Warning remains in effect until tonight

Indiana

Freeze Warning remains in effect until tonight

Ohio

Flood Warning remains in effect until Sunday

  • Minor Flooding possible

Pennsylvania

Flood Warning remains in effect until Sunday

  • Minor Flooding possible

 Additional High Wind Advisory included but not limited to:   California, New Mexico, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.

Additional Dense Fog included but not limited to:  California, Louisiana, Alabama, Jacksonville, Florida and Michigan.
