U.S. Weather Update 3.26.26

Severe thunderstorms are expected later this afternoon and evening across the mid-Mississippi and Ohio Valley's. Large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes are all possible. Meanwhile, record warmth across the southern tier of the country continues; This will enhance fire weather conditions for the Plains. The cold front will head south on Friday with cooler temperatures east of the Rockies

 

Washington

Flood Warning remains in effect until Saturday afternoon. 

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall and snowmelt continues to be possible. 

 Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until Thursday morning.    

 Montana

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until Thursday morning.

  • 2 to 4 inches of snow expected 


Additional High Wind Advisory included but not limited to:   California, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. 

Additional Dense Fog included but not limited to:  California, Louisiana, Alabama, Jacksonville, Florida and Michigan.
