U.S. Weather Update 2.9.26

Summary:

Arctic air lingers for the east, however, winds will slowly subside and a slow moderating trend starts during the week. Moisture continues to provide rainfall and higher elevation snow for the Pacific Northwest, northern California and northern Rockies through Monday. For the State of Hawaii, dangerous surf conditions with strong winds and heavy rainfall will impact the islands through Monday.

Nebraska

Flood Watch remains in effect through Monday evening.  

  • Flooding caused by ice jam is possible. 
 
 

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to: California, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida.

Additional High Wind Watch included but not limited to: Wyoming, Nevada, and Arizona.

Additional Winter Weather Advisory included but not limited to : California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Additional Extreme Cold Watch including but not limited to: North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey,  Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
