U.S. Weather Update 2.27.26

 Elevated to locally critical conditions will persist across the High Plains. Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected over parts of the Southeast and Florida Peninsula. Clipper system will bring modest snowfall and strong winds from the Northern High Plains into the Upper Midwest this weekend. Record warmth will persist across the Southwest into the southern Plains. 

 

Montana

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 8 am today until 11 am Saturday.

  • Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches is expected.  

 

Additional Dense Fog included but not limited to: Oregon, California, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Florida.  

 Additional High Wind Advisory included but not limited to:  Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.  

Additional Winter Weather Watch included but not limited to: Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
