U.S. Weather Update 2.26.26

 Dry and breezy conditions prevail across the High Plains where elevated to locally critical conditions continue through today. Meanwhile, record warmth increases and spreads across the South, Southwest and into southern California into this last weekend of February. Meanwhile, a fast moving system moves across the central Plains then off the mid-Atlantic by this evening.

Flood Warning remains in effect until tomorrow afternoon.

  • Minor flooding of the Sacramento River is expected.  

 

Additional Dense Fog included but not limited to: California, Minnesota, and Iowa.  

 Additional Flood Advisory included but not limited to: Kentucky and Tennessee. 

Additional High Wind Advisory included but not limited to:  Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, Georgia, and South Carolina.  

Additional Winter Weather Watch included but not limited to: Washington.
