U.S. Weather Update 2.2.26

Summary:

Bitter cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills will persist from Florida to the Northeast through Monday. Daily record low temperatures are forecast across the Southeast and Florida, with some all-time February low temperature records possible across Florida. An Alberta clipper will spread wintry precipitation across the Northern Plains today and into the upper Great Lakes into tonight. 

 

 

Washington

Flood Watch remains in effect through late tonight. 

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. 

Louisiana

Flood Warning remains in effect until tomorrow afternoon.   

  • Minor flooding is forecast. 

 

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to:   California, Oregon, Idaho, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. 

Additional High Wind Watch included but not limited to: Wyoming and North Carolina.

Additional Coastal Flood Advisory included but not limited to: California, Delaware, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. 

Additional Winter Weather Advisory included but not limited to: Montana and North Carolina.

Additional Cold Weather Watch included but not limited to: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maine.
