Summary:

Gusty to high winds and low relative humidity will bring elevated to critical fire weather to the central and southern Plains into Wednesday. Two Pacific storms will impact the western U.S. into Wednesday with gusty winds, low elevation rain, and heavy mountain snow.

Oregon

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 am Thursday.

  • Snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected with 1 to 3 feet above 5000 feet. 
  • Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. 

California

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 pm Wednesday. 

  • Snow accumulations of 9 to 35 inches. 

  • Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. 

Nevada

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 pm Wednesday.

  • Snow accumulations of 1to 2 feet.  
  • Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. 

Idaho

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 am Thursday. 

  • Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet.

Utah

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5  am Thursday.

  • Snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches.

New Mexico

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 pm Tuesday.

  • Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.
  • Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

Colorado

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 am Wednesday.

  • Snow accumulations of 10- 20 inches.
  • Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

Wyoming

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 am Thursday.

  • Snow accumulations of 1- 3 feet.
  • Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

Montana

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 pm  Tuesday.

  •  Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches.
  • Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.  

Blizzard Warning remains in effect from 2 pm Tuesday to 5 pm Wednesday

  • Snow accumulations up to 3 inches. 

  • Winds gusting as high as 55 mph causing poor visibility and blowing snow. 

North Dakota

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 pm Tuesday.

  • Snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches.
  • A light glaze of ice.
  • Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

Minnesota

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon Thursday.

  • Snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches.
  • Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

Blizzard Warning remains in effect from 9 pm Tuesday until noon Thursday.

  • Snow accumulations of 10 to 18 inches. 

  • Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. 

Michigan

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 1 am Tuesday until 10pm Wednesday.

  • Snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches.
  • Ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch
  • Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

Arkansas

Flood warning remains in effect from Tuesday morning until late Thursday Morning. 

  • Minor flooding is expected along the Ouachita and Cache Rivers. 

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to: Texas, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

 Additional High Wind Advisory included but not limited to: California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado,  Utah, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, 

Additional Winter Weather Watch included but not limited to : Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Colorado,  North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
