U.S. Weather Update 2.12.26

Summary:

Lake-effect snow will continue downwind of Lakes Erie and Ontario through Friday. In the Western U.S., rain and higher elevation snow will continue over the Great Basin through Friday. A front will move over the Pacific Northwest Thursday afternoon and produce light rain and higher elevation snow over the Cascades through Saturday.

 Wyoming

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 am today.

  • Heavy snow is expected. Total accumulations of 4 to 9 inches.  

Colorado

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until  11 am today.

  • Heavy snow is expected. Total accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with greater amounts up to 20 inches at higher elevations. 
 

New York

remains in effect until 1 pm today. Lake Effect Snow Warning
  • Lake effect snow is expected. Total accumulations up to 3 inches.
     
     

    Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to:  Idaho, North Dakota, Texas,  Louisiana, and Florida.

    Additional Winter Weather Advisory included but not limited to :  Utah, Colorado, and New York.
