U.S. Weather Update 12.15.25

Summary:

Well below normal temperatures will continue across much of the eastern U.S. into Monday. Cold Weather Advisories have been issued from the Ohio Valley down to the northern Gulf Coast and southeast U.S. Heavy lake effect snow continues into Monday east of Lakes Erie and Ontario. Lake Effect Snow Warnings remain in effect.
 

 

Washington

Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice. 

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of the White River.   

Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7 AM until Wednesday morning. 

  • Southwest winds 20 to 45 mph with gusts between 55 to 65.   

Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening. 

  • Heavy snow accumulations of one to three feet. 
  • Snow accumulations at higher altitudes.

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 10 AM today through 7 AM Tuesday.

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations from 2 to 5 inches. 
  • Plan on snow-covered and slippery road conditions with reduced visibility.  

 

Lake Effect Snow Advisoryremains in effect from 7 AM today through 1 PM Tuesday.
  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations from 8 to 16inches.
  • Plan on snow-covered and slippery road conditions with reduced visibility.

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations from 8 to 16inches. 
  • Plan on snow-covered and slippery road conditions with reduced visibility.  
     
     

    Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to : California, Oregon, and Idaho.

    Additional High Wind Warning included but not limited to :  Montana, Idaho, Oregon, California, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Wyoming 

    Additional Cold Weather Advisory included but not limited to : Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and North Carolina.       

    Additional Flood Watch included but not limited to : Idaho and Montana
