U.S. Weather Update 12.1.25

Summary:

A winter-like pattern will continue over much of the Lower 48 over the next few days, with snow stretching from the Rockies today into the Middle Mississippi Valley on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the Gulf Coast and Southeast on Monday. As the storm moves northward late Monday into Tuesday, winter weather is possible from the Central Appalachians to Interior New England.
 
 

Idaho

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM today until 4 PM Tuesday. 

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. 
  • Wind gusting as high as 45 mph.  

Montana

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM. 

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. 
  • Wind gusting as high as 45 mph.  

Wyoming

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM until 11 PM Tuesday. 

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 5 inches. 
  • Wind gusting as high as 45 mph.  

High Wind Warning remains in effect until 8 PM until noon Tuesday. 

  • West winds 30 and 45 mph. 
  • Wind gusting as high as 65mph.  

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to :   California

Additional Winter Storm Watch included but not limited to : Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island,  New Jersey, and New York.
