U.S. Weather Update 11.6.25

Summary:

A Pacific storm will move across the Northwest U.S. through Thursday with low elevation rainfall, gusty winds, and mountain snows. A storm crossing the Northeast U.S. will continue gusty to high winds, scattered rain showers and limited snow showers into Thursday.

 

Washington

 

Flood Watch remains in effect through Friday.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.  
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 

Winter Storm Watch remains in effect until 10 AM Friday.

  • Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 8 to 12 inches along Highway 20.  
  • Additional snow accumulations of 12 - 24 inches are possible on Mount Baker. 

California

High Wind Watch remains in effect until 2 PM this afternoon.

  • Southwest winds 15 - 25 with gusts up to 50 mph.  Potential gusts to 70 mph with any potential thunderstorms. 
  • High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outage.  

Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday morning.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.  
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
 
 

 

Additional Coastal Flood Warning included but not limited to : Oregon and California.

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to : California, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Florida, .

Additional  Flood Warning included but not limited to: Arkansas and Florida. 

Additional Wind Advisory included but not limited to:  California, Montana, and Wyoming.
