U.S. Weather Update 10.29.25

Summary:

Breezy offshore winds and very dry conditions will continue to promote elevated fire weather conditions across coastal Southern California through Wednesday morning. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast for much of south Texas Wednesday as gusty winds and low humidity persists. Widespread rain showers and thunderstorms are expected from the Mississippi Valley to Northeast U.S. today.

 

Florida

Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. 
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations. 

 

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to : Wisconsin.

Additional Wind Advisory included but not limited to :  Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. 

Additional Coastal Flood Warning included but not limited to : North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia.
