U.S. Weather Update 10.2.25

Summary:
A series of Pacific fronts will bring periodic waves of showers and thunderstorms to parts of the Great Basin and Pacific Northwest the next few days. Swells, high surf, dangerous rip currents and areas of coastal flooding continue along much of the East Coast from both Humberto and Imelda. Unseasonably hot temperatures continue for much of the Plains and Midwest through the remainder of the week.


Idaho 

Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from this evening through Friday afternoon.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Flash flooding, mud, rock and debris flows caused by excessive rainfall is possible in and around burn scars. 

Arizona

Wind Advisory remains in effect from this evening through Friday evening.

  • South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could snap, resulting in a few power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.  

 

 

 

Additional Coastal Flood Warning included but are not limited to: North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware.
