U.S. Weather Update 10.15.25

Summary:

A storm system moving over the Rockies Wednesday will bring marginal risks for excessive rainfall and severe thunderstorms from parts of New Mexico into western South Dakota. Moderate snow is expected from northwestern Wyoming into southern Montana.

 

Wyoming

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8:00 PM Tuesday

  • 2 to 5 inches of snow expected between 7500 to 9000 ft, and 5 to 10 inches in higher terrain, including Togwatee and Teton Passes. 
  • Slick travel over the mountain passes.
Colorado

Flood watch remains in effect until October 15th at 11:00 PM.

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.  
  • Excessive rainfall may result in flooding low-lying and flood prone locations
New Mexico
 

Flood warning remains in effect October 15th at 3:00 PM.

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.  
  • Excessive rainfall may result in flooding low-lying and flood prone locations. 
 

 

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but are not limited to: Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Minnesota.

Additional Flood Advisory included but are not limited to: South Dakota and Florida,

Additional Coastal Flooding included but not limited to : Florida, North Carolina, Delaware, and New Jersey.
