Posted by Jarrett on Sep 9, 2021 8:23:17 AM

Summary: Tropical Storm Mindy is forecast to track across the Florida Panhandle to offshore of the Southeastern U.S. over the next day. Hurricane Larry has weakened slightly but is still moving northwest across the Atlantic. Embargoes are still in place for much of the freight destined for coastal Louisiana including New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

Tropical Storm Mindy
Mindy is expected to produce heavy rainfall across portions of southern Georgia and coastal South Carolina tis morning, which may produce isolated to scattered flash, urban, and small stream flooding. Tropical storm force wind gusts are possible across portions of southeastern Georgia this morning

Hurricane Larry
A Tropical Storm Watch is currently in effect for Bermuda. Large swells generated by Larry will continue to affect the east coast of the United States and Atlantic Canada through the end of the week. These will likely cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.
