Weather Update 9.29.21 - U.S.

Summary: While Hurricane Sam won't directly threaten US East Coast, it will be a wave generator, causing large swells along portions of the Leeward Islands today, portions of the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, the Bahamas, and Bermuda by Thursday or Friday, and the US East Coast and Atlantic Canada by the weekend. Additionally, there are two disturbances forming off the African coast that are showing a high chance of development. Otherwise, its a tranquil late September across the US with some areas of locally heavy rain across the central plains, and above normal temperatures from the Mississippi valley through the Tennessee and Ohio valleys.
