Weather Update 9.2.21 - U.S.

Summary: Ida has become a post-tropical remnant as is tracks across the Mid-Atlantic into the Northeast. Two significant hazards are expected with Ida interacting and merging with a front. A high risk for excessive rain and flooding extends from the central Appalachians to southern New England. Also, severe thunderstorms with tornadoes and damaging winds are probable in parts of the Mid-Atlantic. Flood Advisories: New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Louisiana, Mississippi
 
Ida
Freight destined for the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area is embargoed on multiple carriers, and will be delayed. Flooding throughout New York, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and Maryland may also be delaying transit
 
Larry
Larry has become a Hurricane over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, but is not expected to impact the US at this time
