Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 12 PM EDT Saturday
- 2 to 4 feet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
- Impacts: Up to 2 to 4 feet of inundation above ground level is possible in some areas near shorelines and tidal waterways resulting in an elevated threat of property damage. Flooding will extend inland from the waterfront threatening some homes and businesses. Inundation of portions of Hwy 12 around high tide is likely. Water is expected over roadways.
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM EDT Friday evening
- 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
- Impacts: Up to 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways resulting in a low threat of property damage. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes adjacent to the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
