U.S. Weather Update 9.14.22

Summary:
Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue to produce flooding across the Intermountain West and Four Corners region over the next few days. 


Nevada
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM PDT this evening

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Persistent subtropical moisture will bring scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms. The stronger thunderstorms will be capable of generating heavy  rain and potential flash flooding.

Indiana 
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning

  • Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
 

Additional Flood Advisories include but are not limited to: Arizona, Utah, and Washington

Additional Fog Advisories include but are not limited to: Illinois , Michigan, Ohio, Idaho and Montana
