Summary: Tropical Storm Henri is forecast to take a turn toward southern New England today with potential impacts starting as early as Saturday night. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Grace is preparing for a second landfall in Mexico, and Tropical Storm Linda is still approaching Hawaii. Current Advisories: New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts
 
Tropical Storm Henri
Tropical Storm Henri is expected to strengthen into a hurricane over the Atlantic, but its exact path and strength when it draws closer to New England are still uncertain.
 
Hurricane Watch
Hurricane Conditions are possible in parts of New York, Connecticut. and Massachusetts this Sunday
  • Long Island from Fire Island Inlet and from Port Jefferson Harbor eastward
  • New Haven, Connecticut, to Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts
    • Includes Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, and Block Island
Tropical Storm Watch
Tropical Storm conditions are expected over southern New England Sunday into Monday. 
  • West of Fire Island Inlet to East Rockaway Inlet
  • Port Jefferson Harbor and west of New Haven
Storm Surge Watch
Storm Surge expected along the New England Cost
  • Watch Hill, RI, to Sagamore Beach, MA
    • Including Narragansett Bay, Buzzards Bay, Vineyard Sound, Nantucket Sound and Cape Cod Bay
    • 3-5 ft surge
  • East Rockaway Inlet to Montauk Point, NY
    • 2-4 ft surge
  • North shore of Long Island, NY
    • 2-4 ft surge
  • Kings Point, NY, to Watch Hill, RI
    • 2-4 ft surge
  • Cape May, NJ, to East Rockaway Inlet, NY
    • 1-3 ft surge
Tropical Storm Linda
Linda is currently located about 850 miles east of Hilo, Hawaii, and is forecast to reach the Hawaiian island by Sunday evening as a Tropical Depression
 
Tropical Storm Grace
Grace will not impact the U.S., but is now re-strengthening as it moves across the Bay of Campeche and will bring threats of flooding rain, storm surge and damaging winds to parts of Mexico. Grace will make a final landfall by this weekend in central Mexico, likely as a hurricane.
