Summary:
Dangerous heat is expected to continue across parts of the South and Northwest US extending into California. Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are possible across portions of the Ohio Valley extending to the Mid-Atlantic States on Monday. Impacted Lanes: I-25, I-10, I-40, I-55, I-94, I-35, I-90, I-39, I-43, I-88, I-80, I-65, I-64, I-69, I-75, I-77, I-70


Ohio
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning

  • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
  • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Missouri
Flood Warning remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
  • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning

  • Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
  • Impacts: Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. 

Flood Watch remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Tennessee
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
  • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

New Mexico
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM MDT this morning

  • East winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. 
  • Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs may be blown down. Expect strong crosswinds on area roadways. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles

Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 PM MDT this evening

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

Additional Flood Warnings include but are not limited to: Kansas, Arkansas, South Dakota

Additional Flood Advisories include but are not limited to: Kentucky 

Additional Flood Watches include but are not limited to: Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky
