Summary:
An extremely dangerous heat wave will continue over the Southwest U.S. well into next week, with oppressive heat indices remaining across the south-central and southeast U.S. through at least early this weekend. Approximately 80 million people should experience an air temperature or heat index above 105 degrees through this weekend, with dozens of daily record high temperatures possible. Impacted Lanes: I-80, I-76, I-70, I-25, I-44, I-55, I-64, I-40, I-75, I-640, I-81, I-57, I-24, I-65


Missouri
Flood Warning remains in effect until 12 PM CDT today

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
  • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 12 PM CDT today

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Tennessee
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 11:15 AM CDT this morning

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
  • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 12 PM CDT today

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Colorado
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning

  • Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 PM CDT this evening

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.
