Many areas outside of Texas will experience their most significant heat of the season thus far. Slight relief is expected this weekend for parts of Texas, the Lower Mississippi Valley, and Mid-South as temperatures trend down to near normal values. - Visibility 1/4 mile or less in areas of dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 PM MDT Friday afternoon
- Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
