Summary:
Two storm systems, one over the Desert Southwest, and one over the Ohio Valley, will continue to bring unsettled weather and cooler temperatures into the middle of the week. Moderate to heavy rainfall, along with the potential for flash flooding, is forecast from the Ohio Valley to the East Coast. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is expected over the Northern Rockies, Great Basin and Southwest. Montana
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 12:15 PM MDT Tuesday afternoon
- Heavy snow expected on northeast aspects. Total snow accumulations between 10 and 16 inches above 7000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
- Impacts: Roads, including mountain passes, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 12:15 PM MDT Tuesday afternoon
- Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with locally higher totals possible. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.
Oklahoma
Flood Warning remains in effect until 10 AM CDT Thursday morning
- Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Water is over roadways and numerous roads may be closed due to flooding.
Flood Advisory remains in effect until further notice
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. Water is over roadways.
Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 AM CDT Wednesday morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

- Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Water is over roadways and numerous roads may be closed due to flooding.
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Idaho
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10PM MDT this evening
- North winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds could make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown around. Patchy blowing dust could lead to reduced visibility.
