Summary:
Severe thunderstorms are expected across portions of the central into southern Plains into Sunday, with large hail and severe gusts the main threats. The threat for heavy to excessive rainfall and possible flash flooding will return to the south-central U.S. Friday into this weekend. Impacted Lanes: I-44, I-49, I-90, I-40

- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
California
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 3AM MDT this evening
- Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
