A slow-moving storm system will continue to produce widespread heavy showers and thunderstorms which may bring excessive rainfall and flooding as it tracks across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions today into Wednesday. Gusty winds and dry fuels under potential record setting temperatures will support widespread critical fire weather in the northern Plains and Upper Midwest today. Nevada
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening
- Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Wind prone areas gusting up to 65 mph. Ridgetop gusts up to 80 mph, with some gusts up to 100 mph at times.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Difficult driving conditions are possible for high profile vehicles.
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 11 PM PDT this evening
- South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
- Impacts: Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Alabama
Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:45 AM CDT this morning
- Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Small stream flooding may lead to water over roadways.
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning
- Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected as additional showers and some thunderstorms approach from the southwest and move over the advisory area.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water is over roadways.
Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Urban areas will also be more susceptible to flash flooding. Water over roadways is possible and expected.

Winter Winter Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM MDT Tuesday morning
- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.
- Impacts: Roadways and mountain passes will become snow covered and slippery. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
