Summary:
Additional rounds of thunderstorms are expected Thursday and Thursday night across Oklahoma and north Texas, with risks for both large hail and flash flooding. Strong winds may accompany any storms from east Texas northeast through the lower Great Lakes. Impacted Lanes: I-35, I-40, I-44, I-20, I-45, I-30, I-65, I-85


Oklahoma
Flood Warning remains in effect until 10:30 AM CDT this morning

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
  • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

Flood Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
  • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. 

Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 PM CDT Friday afternoon

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. Water over roadways is expected. 

Alabama
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning

  • Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Additional Flood Warnings include but are not limited to: Illinois, Texas, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Missouri

Additional Flood Advisories include but are not limited to: Missouri
