A cold front will renew threats for severe storms from the Arklatex region into the Deep South. Storms may produce damaging winds, large and damaging hail, a couple of tornadoes, and heavy rain that could cause flash flooding. Fire weather threats remain critical in the Southwest, Intermountain West, and into the Plains. Arctic air and strong winds will produce bitter wind chills in Alaska. Active Advisories: Washington, Montana, Wyoming

Snow expected this evening above 2000ft across the Cascades
  • 6-12 inches of snow
  • From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM PDT Saturday
Will likely impact transit through the mountains including through Snoqualmie and Stevens Passes

Snow continuing early this morning across southeast MT
  • 1-2 inches of snow
  • 30-45mph wind gusts
  • Until 9 AM MDT this morning.
 
Wyoming
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow expected today across northeast WY
  • 3-6 inches of snow
  • 35mph wind gusts
  • Until noon MDT today
 
 
Wind Advisories are in place across parts of California, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Oklahoma
