Weather Update 4.5.21 - U.S.

There will be a few hazards to contend with across the U.S. on Monday. A vigorous system will dig into the Intermountain West for heavy mountain snow. Meanwhile, winds and fire weather concerns are likely from the Great Basin into parts of the High Plains. Finally, ahead of this system, isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible from the Upper Mississippi Valley to the Texas Panhandle. Active Advisories: Montana, Wyoming

Snow developing this morning across portions of central, southwest, and west central MT
  • 3-8 inches of snow above 4000ft
  • Until 9 PM MDT this evening
Wyoming
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow expected to begin this evening across northwest WY
  • 8-10 inches of snow
  • From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Tuesday
