More rounds of excessive rainfall and severe weather are expected to push east and southeast toward the Lower Mississippi Valley into Monday. A late-season storm will bring widespread high-elevation snow and lower elevation rain across the Pacific Northwest toward the northern Rockies with increasingly windy conditions to develop over the northern High Plains. Louisiana
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:45 AM CDT this morning
- Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
- Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening
- Minor coastal flooding expected.
- Impacts: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.
Flood Watch remains in effect until 10 PM CDT this evening
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Water may be over roadways.
Wyoming
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening
- West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.
- Impacts: Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.
Idaho
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening
- West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds could make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown around.
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening
- Snow expected Lemhi County above 6000 feet. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches for most passes with up to 5 inches at the higher elevations. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Missouri
Flood Warning remains in effect until 2:15 PM CDT this afternoon
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Water will be over roadways.
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:15 AM CDT this morning
- Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
- Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9:30 AM CDT this morning
- Visibility less than one mile in dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
