Weather Update 4.27.21 - U.S.

Severe thunderstorms may produce damaging wind gusts, large hail, isolated tornadoes, and a few instances of flash flooding primarily across a portion of the Southern Plains Tuesday afternoon and night. Critical fire weather conditions will shift to the Southern Plains, with a separate area over New England. Active Advisories: Utah, Wyoming, Colorado

Snow continuing his morning across southwest UT
  • 3 inches additional snow
  • Until 9 AM MDT this morning
Impacting transit along SR-14, SR-143, and the higher passes of I-15
 
Wyoming
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow expected this morning above 9000ft across west central and north central WY
  • 6-10 inches of snow
  • 40mph wind gusts
  • Until noon MDT Tuesday
Colorado
Winter Storm Warning
Heavy snow possible overnight tonight above 7500ft across north central CO
  • 6-12 inches of snow
  • From 6 PM this evening to Noon MDT Wednesday
