Summary:
Severe thunderstorms and heavy rains that may lead to isolated areas of flash flooding will impact portions of the Central and Southern Plains into the Lower Mississippi Valley Tuesday and Wednesday. Gusty winds may pose an elevated to critical fire weather across large portions of New Mexico, far southeastern Arizona and southwest Texas. Impacted Lanes: I-29, I-94, I-80, I-25, I-90, I-70

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 AM MDT Wednesday morning
- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 12 PM MDT Wednesday afternoon
- Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 feet. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Arizona
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening
- West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up from 40 to 50 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. In addition, winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Trees are more susceptible to blowing down due to saturated soil conditions from snow melt. Areas of blowing dust may develop.

Flood Advisory remains in effect until further notice
- Flooding caused by upstream dam release continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated.
Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice
- Flooding caused by upstream dam release continues.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Several structures are flooded and some sand bagging operations are continuing. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
