Weather Update 4.23.21 - U.S.

A potent storm system will roll across the Southern tier of the U.S. over the next two days. As a result, severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes are possible from the southern Plains and Lower Mississippi Valley into the South and Southeast. Also, heavy rain from these thunderstorms may cause some flood concerns, especially in the Lower Mississippi Valley. Active Advisories: California, Montana

    • 24 inches above 7000ft
  • From Saturday evening through Monday morning

Snow occurring this morning across western and south central MT
  • 1-3 inches of additional snow
  • Until Noon MDT today
 
Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories are in place across parts of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware
