A strong cold front will sweep through the East on Wednesday with heavy wet snow from the eastern Great Lakes into northern New England and strong thunderstorms with damaging winds in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The big story though will continue to be the well below average temperatures behind this storm system or east of the Rockies, as numerous record low temperatures are likely.
