Scattered severe thunderstorms with very large hail 3 inch diameter or larger, a couple of tornadoes, and damaging wind gusts are expected late this afternoon into early tonight from northeast Kansas into southwest Iowa. Dry, gusty winds today and Thursday will bring elevated to critical fire weather across the southern Rockies, south Plains, and central Plains. Impacted Lanes: I-29, I-94, I-80, I-15, I-90

- Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
- Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening
- Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
- Impacts: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT Friday evening
- Flooding caused by snowmelt continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

- Impacts: Water over roadways.
South Dakota
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening
- Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
- Impacts: Sudden wind gusts can cause drivers to lose control, especially in lightweight or high profile vehicles. Strong winds can cause blowing dust, reduced visibility, and flying debris.
